Extraction Rate (L/day)
How many litres of water a dehumidifier removes from the air in 24 hours under stated test conditions — the headline capacity number.
Extraction rate, usually stated in litres per day (L/day), is the standard way dehumidifier capacity is measured and compared. It's always measured at specific test conditions — DryKing rates its range at 30°C / 80% RH, a realistic Pakistani monsoon-season condition, rather than an inflated lab figure you'd never see at home.
A higher L/day rating means a unit can remove more moisture in a day under those conditions — but the number only means something relative to your room's actual moisture load, which is why sizing (matching extraction rate to room volume, dampness, climate and usage pattern) matters more than picking the biggest number available.
