The method
How we calculate it
We convert your room to a volume (area × ceiling height), then adjust for three things that change how much moisture a dehumidifier actually has to remove: how damp the space feels, which part of Pakistan you’re in, and whether it’s a home or a continuously-run commercial space.
This gives a solid starting estimate for portable and commercial spaces. For industrial halls and multi-room sites, treat the result as a starting point — our engineers confirm the final number with a proper calculation, and larger installations get a data-logged site survey before we quote.

Common sizing mistakes

Sizing off floor area alone — a 3 m ceiling needs more capacity than a 2.4 m one at the same footprint, because you're drying a volume of air, not a floor.

Ignoring how the room actually feels. A musty, visibly damp room needs more capacity than a dry one of the same size — the number on a spec sheet assumes average conditions.

Treating all of Pakistan the same. Coastal Karachi carries more ambient humidity than Islamabad or the interior — the same room needs different capacity in different cities.

Not accounting for continuous duty. A warehouse running 24/7 needs sizing differently to a bedroom used a few hours a night.
