CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate)

A measured rate of clean, particle-free air an air purifier actually delivers — the number that tells you if it's sized for your room.

CADR is a standardised measurement of how much filtered air a purifier outputs per hour, usually expressed in m³/h or ft³/min. Unlike marketing claims about filter type or stage count, CADR is a direct, comparable performance number — it tells you whether a unit is actually sized for your room's volume, not just whether it has a HEPA filter.

A purifier with too low a CADR for the room runs constantly without meaningfully improving air quality, similar to how an undersized dehumidifier short-cycles without reaching its target humidity.

The DryKing Airvio is built around a 400 m³/h CADR, suited to bedrooms, living rooms, offices and clinics.
